The Way Roads Should Be
Today at school, I wrote an essay. This would probably have to be the best essay I've written all year. This gave me a chance to mix school with roads. Here it is:
The Way Roads Should Be
Now, no one has ever thought of this idea before, but if you want to build a bypass, bypass US-29 in Greensboro. Here are the reasons why and possible proposals.
The current highway was built a long time ago probably in the 1930’s. Back then, traffic in Greensboro was very easygoing and was a lot simpler. So when US-29 was built, it was built in a very small and simple manner. Also, US-29, US-220, and US-70 were moved onto a new route built in 1955 which like the other part, was built in a very small and simple manner.
Today, it’s a matter of getting to work or school in a real hurry. Greensboro has grown very drastically in the past 70 years. But US-29 stayed the same and is just not acceptable for today’s standards. For instance, the road includes narrow ramps that are also side streets.
The route is also a perfect definition of a divided super 4. This means its half road and half freeway. This is one way that the road is a nightmare to drive on during rush hour because cars are turning off onto side roads and other cars are getting off at exits. It’s confusing!
The time for a bypass is now! Part of this has come true because of Painter Blvd. will include the new Interstate 785 that will be part of US-29 from Virginia to Greensboro. Interstate 785’s Greensboro section will leave US-29 and merge with Painter Blvd. The Interstate will then end at Interstate 40/85.
But that’s not enough. In 2006, a new Wal-Mart shopping center at the former Carolina Circle Mall will open causing even more traffic nightmares on US-29. The best thing to do is reroute US-29 onto Painter Blvd. along with Interstate 785. US-29 could then merge with the new Interstate 85 Bypass in southern Greensboro and reunite with its old section in the Groometown area. The old section can be called Business 29 or something like that.
US-29 is a very dangerous road and should be moved onto some sort of bypass before even more accidents happen.

Not bad, i def could of not pulled off an essay that well at your age.
US 29's jersey freeway segment in Greensboro are common on many New Jersey roadways.
