Remembering Pendle Hill Christian School: Go-Cart Math
For awhile, you will get a peak at what it was like to go to Pendle Hill Christian School.
This post contains pictures of the go-cart track we went to in May of 2005. It was interesting because we applied math to it.
The person in the blue car up front is Lucas Lloyd, the person in the black 7 car is Chris Jones (My friend Dillon Jones' brother), and the person in the Dale Earndhart 3 car in the back is me enjoying the many wonders of roadgeeking.
That's Sarah Faust and Kaleb Marshall doing some sort of measurement thing. Don't ask me, math's my weakness.
That's Jonathan Cobrda riding the number 7 car. He's performed in many local performances like A Christmas Carol. He played young Ebenezer Scrooge and Peter Cratchet. Also, look at the top left portion of the picture. Recognize the building? You should. It's the one and only Carolina Circle Mall! The go-cart track is on 16th Street right across from the mall. That was a great day because I got to ride a go-cart and see Carolina Circle Mall. This was about a month before demolition began.
More is to come later so stay tuned.
