Retro Signage: 7/13/06

I took that picture in 1998. This is Death Valley immediately after the US-29 merge going west.

These signs are now historic because the Interstate 85 shield has been replaced with a Business 85 shield when the new bypass opened in 2004. In circa 2007, it will be even more historic because the Interstate 40 shield will be replaced with a Business 40 shield. I can't wait!
