Back Home
In case you didn't know what happened to me this past week and why I haven't updated the Roadgeek BlogRing, I've been in Kure Beach, North Carolina. I just got back in Greensboro this afternoon.
It was awesome. I took the top picture from the motel room's balcany on Sunday. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had to come back today.
I might go back to the beach in November for a few days in honor of my birthday. Better not go around Thanksgiving though.
This trip gave me a great opportunity to soak up some roads. This beach route is my all-time favorite because you just get on Interstate 40 East and take it all the way to Wilmington. It's nearly 200 miles of Interstate 40. I got to ride through Raleigh which I haven't done in nearly 3 years. I also got to see the new I-140 Wilmington Bypass. I didn't ride on it, but I saw it from I-40.
I'll explain more on my trip later. But for now, please enjoy these 135 pictures of road signs I took to and from the beach.
