Earthquake!!!

At about 5:00 AM this morning, Winston-Salem was doing the "Hippy Hippy Shake", and I don't mean the song from the '60s.

An earthquake measuring only 2.6 on the Richter Scale hit Winston-Salem this morning centered near Smith Reyonlds Airport. It was what they call a "Micro Earthquake". That's your Road City science lesson for today.

Winston-Salem seems to be a popular place for earthquakes around here. I've never experienced any type of earthquake in my life. About 3 years ago, an earthquake hit near Richmond, Virginia and it was felt here in Greensboro. Everyone felt it, but me. Maybe I was too busy to notice it.
