Urban Loop Equals Urban Sprawl

New Section of Greensboro Urban Loop Under Construction

This article from Fox 8 WGHP talks about the Greensboro Urban Loop (Painter Boulevard) and how it will create urban sprawl. It also gives some information about the loop itself.

I'm still hearing that the section of Painter Boulevard from its current end at Interstate 85 in SW Greensboro to Bryan Boulevard is set to open in summer 2007. This is the kind of stuff that makes me excited.

Just as a friendly reminder, Interstate 40 will be moved onto this section of the loop from Interstate 40 near PTI Airport to Interstate 85. The old section will become Business 40.
