Road City Loves the Dixie Classic Fair

Every year of my life I have gone to the Dixie Classic Fair. Every year consists of two trips excluding 2001 when we decided to go to the Dixe Classic Fair and the State Fair. On Sunday, I took a trip to the Dixie Classic Fair for the 15th year. Here are some photos from Sunday. I'm going back Saturday so I'll post some more then.

This is the gate we went in at. If you go to the fair, go through the West Gate. The line isn't as long as the main entrance.

The fairgrounds is a part of the Lawrence Joel Memorial Coliseum. This is what the coliseum looks like. I've always liked the lime green tile siding.

If you go to the fair, don't leave without a trip to the chicken place.

This is the view of the fair from the West Gate.

The famous Dixie Classic Fair Clocktower. Next to the clocktower is a sign saying "DeLorean Crossing". Not really.

I've never been to the Dixie Classic Fair. Maybe I should. It looks nice.

I highly suggest that fair. It's the #2 fair in the state of NC. The State Fair is #1, but I rate the State Fair #435,578,445.
