Breaking News: New Interstate 40 Traffic Pattern

Thursday, I was able to ride on a new traffic pattern of Interstate 40 East. It's near PTI Airport and located at the future Painter Blvd interchange.

The new I-40 East pattern involves these stages: First, you must vere off to the right onto the new section. Second, you loop around the old section and cross a bridge over the future I-40. Finally, you return to the usual section near the Guilford College Road interchange.

This is a sign of progress for Painter Boulevard. I was really excited to ride on this new traffic pattern. This is because I have always enjoyed new roads even if it's a small one.

Remember, once the new I-40 bypass opens in 2007, the old section of I-40 will become Business 40.
